BEANS TEAM MEMBERS
HAOYUE YANG
Project Manager
Haoyue Yang is the manager of the BEANS project with an academic background in journalism and communication. She is working on MA DAMM at King’s College London. As the team leader, she makes a significant contribution in determining project theme, formulating plans, assigning tasks, supervising progress, conducting content checks and making suggestions, specific problem solving, giving presentations, etc. To ensure an excellent result, she has a high level of involvement in all sections and phases of the project.
Linlin Wang
User Researcher
Linlin Wang is a postgraduate student in King’s College London whose major is Digital Humanities. As the user researcher of this project, she has done a lot of work on generative research, which gives strong support for the team in designing and iteratively adjusting the products. Besides, she is in charge of designing the smart waste-separation bin and its screen. In her free time, she is interested in hiking and going to the concert.
Qinyun Han
Designer
Qinyun Han is a student of MSc Digital Economy. She is the designer responsible for setting up the website and drawing findings from user research. She has no previous design experience, but she hopes the website will present an aesthetically pleasing visual effect through her continuous learning and experimentation. In daily life, she enjoys piano and sketching.
Tianyu Xia is studying for her Master's degree in Digital Economy and enjoys reading and travelling. She is responsible for the prototyping and usability testing of the project. She hopes that the App will be both user-friendly and educational, enabling users to not only learn more about the correct way of separating waste but also raise environmental and climate awareness from the ground up.

Prototyper
Yitong Wang is currently studying Digital Economy at King’s College London. She is the prototyper of the team and was mainly responsible for the design of the logo and App interfaces. She enjoyed being involved in the whole processes of the project and learning about HCI and hope that the users will have a smooth and comfortable experience when using the App. She enjoys travelling and painting; when she has free time, she also likes to find some nice movies to admire.
